Simphiwe Botile, residing in Phumlani, 1973. ECaweni, Needs Camp, East London, 5219 – Director, Choreographer, Music composer, Percussionist, Actor started in 1994 to realise his career in Arts
Founder member of Lumanyano Cultural Group which was established in 2001 based in Phumlani, playing jembe drums (percussions) and Male lead singer for Dynamic Tempo Music Group.: self employed comedian, musician traditional dancer
Simphiwe performed provincially, Nationally and International both in Festivals and Events, working and choreographing dance productions for lumanyano. National Arts Festival with Eastern Cape Ensemble 2001 till to date

Recently Simphiwe recorded an African Indigenous Music Album featuring Lumanyano Cultural Group
Titled – IBALI LAM (My story) it was recorded in Durban, it was funded by National Lottery Distribution Fund
AWARDS:
Simphiwe was awarded of Eastern Cape Arts and Culture Awards 2013 in Official opening of National Arts Festival
